It's gonna be a good year for films I think. Lots of promising looking stuff out there for blockbuster and arthouse fans alike.

The Revenant (looks amazing, just see the trailer)
Knight of Cups (new Terrence Malick film)
Hail, Caesar! (new Coen brothers)
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Midnight Special (from director of Take Shelter & Mud)
High-Rise (Ben Wheatley adapting JG Ballard's fucked up novel about a tower block that descends into anarchy)
Anomalisa (Charlie Kaufman doing an animation, who doesn't want to see that)
Silence (Scorsese's next film)
Room (darling of the festival circuit recently)
Creed (and Hands of Stone the Roberto Duran film if it ever comes out, been on the slate for about 4 years!)
OTHERS:
Hateful Eight (Tarantino)
The Neon Demon (Nic Winding Refn's new film)
Steve McQueen: The Man & Le Mans
Youth (Paolo Sorrentino new film with Caine and Keitel)
Trumbo (Bryan Cranston playing Dalton Trumbo the black-listed Hollywood writer)
Being Evel (Evel Knievel documentary)
Green Room
Independence Day: Resurgence
Finding Dory (Pixar sequel)
Ghostbusters (the reboot with women in, could be decent or a car crash)
COMIC BOOK CORNER:
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (but Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luther worries me)
Captain America: Civil War (looks great, the Cap films are my favourites of the Avengers series)

X-Men: Apocalypse (meh)

Can't believe the Ghostbusters reboot will be anything but utter shit. I wouldn't mind if there were decent female actors in it.

Watched the first 30 Of The Revenant. Amazing battle scène with Indians. Will see rest tonight. Id add Sicaria to that list. Excellent film

Haven't been to the pictures once in 2015 I don't think, so guessing all of the films mentioned won't be watched by me until 2017 when on Sky.
May treat myself to the Star Wars currently out the first week of January though.

The most predictable line in cinema ... "Tarantino's new film is an HOMAGE to (insert film genre here)".
